Today on a small open patch of the Cornwallis R. at Lovett Road, 
Coldbrook, there was one Bufflehead along with two other ducks that 
may have been this species. (when I backed up, the birds which were 
on the other side of the vehicle, flushed). Buffleheads are extremely 
rare in winter in Kings Co.
While playing bridge this afternoon in Kentville a Chipping Sparrow 
joined many Juncos at their feeders.
