Hi Everyone; Thank you, Pat, for your "Depths of Winter" list, containing only birds reported in Nova Scotia in this month (February). Amazing! I always follow Blake's winter list - but I hadn't realized so many birds had been reported - or at least were still being reported during this latest spell of cold weather! For those interested in finding and reporting hardy survivors, there will be two great opportunities this weekend: NSBS Sewer Stroll 2 - led by Fulton Lavender, (Sat, Feb.17th) and The Great Backyard Bird Count - Fri, the 16th - Mon, the 19th inclusive.
