The wind was light until the afternoon, so reasonable birding weather. Highlights were: Northwest Arm and Dartmouth Cove: 1 Great Cormorant at each location Dorothea Drive, Dartmouth: N. Cardinal - 1 female still present Song Sparrow - at least 6 White-throated Sparrow - at least 2 Conrad Marsh: N. Pintail - 1 female mink - 1, very active, swimming and loping on the ice - made a dash at a female Red-breasted Merganser Lawrencetown River: Am.
