I have a Hermit Thrush feeding under my finch feeder, eating finch seed
only. Does not scratch with its feet but with its bill. An American Tree
Sparrow joined it forr awhile this afternoon and did a better job of
removing the snow and the Hermit came over and took its place. The Thrush
arrived Thur. Feb 1st ate hungrily on Fri. did not appear on Sat, but is
back to-day.
