Subject: Eagle Watch Weekend

      Hi intrepid Photographers:

Now that the weather has turned colder the eagles are more active =
and looking for food. I have been down a couple of times now and have =
seem eagles in scattered areas, except an old stand by that has produced =
some nice results.

The plan is to meet at Tim Horton's in Windsor Exit 5A- (The same =
exit as the Hants Exhibition, Superstore, Macdonald's) prior to 8:30.=20
Please have your "downloaded waivers" signed and passed in before =
departing at.=20
      http://photoguild.ns.ca/events/trips.html
      .=20
We will proceed towards Pt. Williams and then around the local =
area before stopping at the Community Hall for pancake breakfast. =
Probably arrive there at 11:30 or so depending on how good the =
photography is. From there you can get a local "eagle watch" map. Kindly =
vote for your favorite Eagle Print to receive "The Peoples Choice Award" =
upstairs and view the displays, videos and tables of vendors.
From there you can be on your own and/or tag along for some more =
eagle locations. Its a game of roaming around and observing where they =
are hanging out. The odds are better where the local farmers feed them =
at designated stations where they deposit the dead chicks in various =
fields.
For supper we plan on meeting at Paddy Pub and Rosie's Restaurant =
in Kentville for camaraderie, drinks and food probably just after sunset =
which will be approx 5:15 pm.

Bruce Cochrane has room in his van for people:
"I have am able to transport several people from Metro for=20
this field trip. They would have to contribute towards the cost of
      gas....Bruce, 465-3549"

The Sheffield Mills Community Hall activities are as follows. =
