Happy New Year! I haven't been birding much lately so maybe these have already been reported. Nonetheless, there were 8 House Finch at a feeder on Jubilee Road. It is the second house to the left of the entrance to Conrose/Horse Field on Jubilee at the intersection with Connaught. If you enter the field and go towards the tennis courts you can easily see the backyard feeders. There was a small flock of Starlings that perhaps the Grackle was following. Cheers, Ann M. Halifax
