An interesting sight yesterday at the far end of Cherry Hill Beach
was of two Purple Sandpipers feeding on the beach, at the edge of
the water, with five Red Knots and one Sanderling, allowing great
close study. A Black-bellied Plover was on the flats.

Also of interest was a single Crow's wing in the middle of the road in
the dunes. Perhaps the party assigned to this area on the Broad
Cove CBC on Saturday can find the perpetrator!
