Hi All
Just before Christmas, I encountered a black deposit
over the rocks at Graves Island. The department of
Environment today identified it as a form of algea
that is coating the rocks in one places just at the
usual high water mark.
It is on the left just after you cross the bridge. not
easy to see at high tide. I thought it might be oil so
I reported it to them. I got a very prompt response.
Three calls even if its Christmas.
Has anyone seen such an occurance before?
Have a nice holiday
Paul
