the sun was out as fine as could be
so today a christmas count was in store for me
birded to yarmouth and all over town
the mockingbird and house finches were still around
a look for the swans ,none i could find
so off to count the turkey vultures there were nine
over to hebron what a great birding place
no birds there either just the human race
on the way home a kestrel flew by
back on the island and the sun was getting low in the sky
