Jeannie, on the recent call-in on birds on Maritime Noon, someone suggested
to discourage pigeons and crows by getting a lobster trap (wire) and putting
the feeder(s) inside that; then the openings would deter the larger birds
while letting in the smaller ones. Cheers from Jim in Wolfville

Subject: [NatureNS] Evening Grosbeak

I had 9 Evening Grosbeak at my feeders in Port Hawkesbury yesterday. They
didn't stay very long, maybe 15 min.I am having a big problem here with rock
doves. They tend to take over.Any suggestions on what to do about them?
Thanks,Jeannie
