All: I did some casual scouting of my Hfx-D'mth CBC area this afternoon and was amazed to see 4 drake and at least 2 (dim light) female Eurasian Wigeons in a fair group (35+) of Am. Wigeons. This was from the shore road (Hi'way 207) - they were inside the Rails-to-Trails path at the West Marsh just north of the West Lawrencetown Road. Hope they're there tomorrow. Also found an )unsurprising) Great Blue Heron in the inlet from Cole Harbour opposite to house 2393 on the shore road. This is someone else's area tomorrow. Cheers, Ian McLaren
