Hi Gang.

While checking out the festival grounds (water tower hill in Canso) on =
Monday Dec 11th to see if by any chance the Meadowlark had survived the =
recent harsh weather I was VERY surprized to have a YB Cuckoo flush off =
the side of the hill and perch in the Alders below! Not a rare bird by =
no means for the area but certinaly a late acount of a doomed bird!

I only walked perhaps anouther 200' before the E.Meadowlark flushed to =
the next hill to the west.

We also have a confusing (to me anyway) Golden Plover that photos have =
been taken off and ID will be posted later!
