Hi;

The Baltimore Oriole, imm. female, came back to my
yard yesterday. It was at the nyjer feeder (Niger?),
the black oil sunflower feeder, and the feeder with
Eco-crust bird pie (available at most grocery stores).
It was also foraging on the ground.

I remember the oriole at Tom Kavanaugh's yard in Canso
was coming to his hummingbird feeder. If orioles can
adapt their feeding preferences to eat several types
of seed and suet, and other things, perhaps their
chances of surviving our Nova Scotia winters will
improve.

Cheers;
Suzanne
