Just a few quick notes for today, Thursday, December 7th 2006. Posted at =
10:45 p.m.

Sullivans Pond had again 3 American Coots, 2 Gadwall and several Iceland =
Gulls flying overhead. Lots of Iceland Gulls at the outflow near the =
Halifax/Dartmouth ferry route. Red Bridge Pond , near the Irving still =
has one Coot nearby and there were two Iceland Gulls on top of the thin =
layer of ice ,closer to the middle and viewed from my apartment today. =
At Bissett Lake there were several previously reported American Coots =
and Ruddy Ducks. A few Northern Pintails, along with a Pintail/Mallard =
hybrid were there today, along with some Scaup that were mixed in with =
the large number of Canada Geese, too far out for me to properly I.D. =
One duck species that I hadn't viewed there previous were 2 bufflehead, =
fairly far from ther shoreline.
