Hi, Angus and I hot-footed it from Kentville/ Coldbrook to Brooklyn, Queen's Co. - arriving at 12md. The Redwing appeared as if out of nowhere in the trees around #33, as detailed by Eric, at about 2pm. It stayed around, and seemed fairly unfazed by our presence. It was accompanied by, but not associating with, Blue Jays and Chickadees. I had to be back here by 5pm, so we left at 2:30. At that point the bird had flown into the deep cover of the Holly bush right beside the house, and we didn't attempt to disturb it any more.
