Hi All; As a lover of both forests and folk music, I was pleased to learn that the video of Bob Bossin's song Sulphur Passage is now watchable on-line: http://www.bossin.com/sulpas1.htm The video of the song was one weapon in the long fight to save much of the Clayoquot wilderness (in BC) from clear-cutting. It might do us all good to watch this video, and become a little bit inspired. In Nova Scotia there is still no law governing how trees are harvested, and with Irving's stranglehold on New Brunswick I doubt the situation is any better there. And there is a readable essay regarding the song's genesis following the video. Or simply enjoy the video.
