Dorothy Poole and I took a bird outing locally today. We discovered an
American Coot and two American Wigeon in the pond by Fort Point, LaHave.
The American Coot is the first I have seen in the LaHave Area so this is a
new bird in this location. The wigeon are not common to this area either.

Eight Bonaparte Gulls were at Second Peninsula.

A Belted Kingfisher was at Mason's Beach and another in Lunenburg.

A northern Flicker (very hard to find here now) was along the road that
leads out past Corkum's Island.

Two Black-headed Gulls were on the spit at the Lunenburg Waterfront near
ABCO.
