The Nova Scotia Wild Flora Society monthly meeting will be held Monday, 
November 27, 2006 at the NS Museum, Summer St. Halifax.
Location: Auditorium, lower level.
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Speaker: Mark Elderkin from the Department of Natural Resources.
Topic: Endangered Species Act

Nova Scotia has one of the best Endangered Species Acts in Canada. Mark 
Elderkin of the Endangered Species unit of the Department of Natural 
Resources will present a talk illustrating the impact this act has had 
on the environmental assessment and planning processes both in Nova 
Scotia and in other jurisdictions, where it has served as a model.
