Dalhousie currently gets =20 about 1,000,000 incoming messages a day of which less that 5% are =20 legitimate. The Dal system works by processing mail in large blocks. =20 When the main filtering system gets really busy, new block of incoming =20= mail is diverted to a secondary system. This sometimes means that while =20= an original post may be tied up in the main system, replies go to the =20= secondary system and are processed more quickly so that they messages =20= arrive out of order. Since my Mac checks for mail every 5 minutes I have had more than a few =20= instances where I was scratching my head wondering how I missed the =20 original post only to have it show up 10 or 15 minutes later....
