Hi: The run out to Sandy Cove, HRM, was generally unprofitable. However, a House Wren opposite 7 South Pt. Rd., Portuguese Cove, was of interest. It was a grayish bird, presumably subspecies parkmanii from ON through West, rather than the nominate aedon, which nests as close as NB, and which I believe has been the form found here breeding or attempting to. Off Chebucto Head, great wheeling swarms of N. Gannets were drifting slowly southeast. There were also numbers of dolphin schools, at least some of which I think were White-sided. Alas, no other pelagics than a few B-l Kittiwakes; I was hpoing for a laggard Cory's Shearwater. Cheers, Ian
