Hi All
While out sitting on a stump this afternoon in a
recently cut area ( 10 years ago ? ) a Shrike came and
landed on top of a tall tree for the area. Don't see
them very often in Lunenburg County but they are an
interesting bird.
After surveying the situation for a few minutes, it
jumped from its perch, dropped to near the ground and
flew off for supper.
Persumably it was a Northern but I had no optics to
study it closely.
Have a nice fall
Paul
