Evening presentaion of Halifax Field Naturalists:

MARINE MAMMAL RESCUE - THURSDAY 2 NOVEMBER

Join Tonya Wimmer for "Marine Mammal Conservation and Rescue in the
Maritimes". Did you know that the waters around the maritime provinces
are home to over 20 species of whales, dolphins, porpoises, and seals?
Many of them visit in the summer to feed and have their young, while
others are found along the coastline year round. Join Tonya of the Marine
Animal Response Society to hear about these fascinating creatures. Learn
about important conservation issues such as the threats to these species,
and the rescue of stranded marine mammals.

7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History,
1747 Summer Street, Halifax.

All are welcome!
