Index of Subjects That is an interesting sighting Richard. I have never seen a mostly white pheasant but many years ago I saw a melanistic hen pheasant. I just can't remember how much black plumage she had but it was a lot. While it appears a lot of white animals and birds are being seen I suspect that it is just because many more keen observers are out looking and then we have the internet to inform so many people while years ago a person just told a few friends.
