Besides the usual American Coot that is still at Sullivans Pond, I found =
another at Red Bridge Pond Dartmouth this morning near the Irving along =
Braemar Dr / Waverly Road. Here is a photo of the bird, the first of 6 =
new bird photo additions to the photo site, running from #141 thru #146:

For those who have an interest in another flying critter that is not a =
bird , here is a photo of what I assume is one of the smallest wasps I =
have ever seen. I swatted at it in my apartment, thinking it was a fruit =
fly. For its size it appears to have a proportionally impressive =
stinger:
