Field trip organised by Halifax Field Naturalists:

	ANNUAL CRANBERRY PICK   -   SUNDAY 22 OCTOBER

Scott Yetman will lead a cranberry pick at Taylor Head Provincial Park.
It will not be an extensive hike, and participants are free to stay close
to the parking lot for picking, or to hike further in.  Please
note: Everybody has to make sure they are back at their cars by 4:00 p.m.,
at which time the gate is locked.  Wear suitable clothing and footwear for
the weather and rocky terrain, and bring lunch and drinks.

Rain Date:	Sunday 29 October - same time and place
Time/Place:	10:00 a.m. !sharp! at the gate to Taylor Head Provincial
		Park.  The gate will be locked after the assembled
		participants are inside.  Late-comers will have to walk in
		(45-50 minutes)!  The park is located on the Eastern
		Shore, 0.4 km east of Spry Bay, Halifax County, and 11 km
		southeast of Sheet Harbour on Route 7 (Marine Drive).
Duration:	7 hours; until 5:00 p.m. 
Difficulty:	Easy to moderate, according to individual choice.
