Hi,
Karine Gautreau and I observed a yellow-billed cuckoo at the end of silver
point road near the town of Lunenburg at 3:30 this afternoon. It was very
tame and we were able to watch it foraging for grasshoppers and worms for
about 20 minutes. There is a small pond at the end of the road across from
two driveways; the bird was in this area. If you leave the town of Lunenburg
driving towards Blue Rocks, silver point road is the first left turn after
passing the bike barn (a local bike shop/ bed and breakfast).
