Hi All Yesterday we were canoeing on the river and again saw the baby herring. This time clouds of them. I have no idea as to number but a lot of zeros. They were moving steadily down as we followed one cloud as it went over a small rapids. Lots of good things for the locals. Woodies are alreay moving through as are woodcock which we saw a couple. Mallards and Blacks everywhere. The river came up after the last visit. Maybe 20 cms. Its bottom is being fertilized by a carpet of leaves.
