Puncture wounds are very hard to detect thru all those feathers and sometimes the little bit of blood that may result could be restricted to below the skin surface. If the cat bit the dove you can be sure the bird will need antibiotics! Cat's have very "dirty" mouths (Pasteurella,etc.). So a trip to the local vet may be in order. Good luck.
