This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_0005_01C6DFE5.B7F995D0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hi All, =20 I am the student that requested some advice for her radar project = earlier from this list serve. This list was great and I had a great response = but I'm back again to ask for some more help! =20 I was running a radar off of highway 103 near Oak Park in Yarmouth = County. Between 7 to 9 am on the morning of September 21st, I recorded huge = "blobs" of targets on my radar screen. I was not near the radar during this = time so I was not able to see what was actually creating these blobs. One bird usually just creates a small "blob" so I know that there must have been large flocks. =20 All of these blobs were heading north and northeast-ish at heights = ranging from 100 m to over 600 m. I have other radar sites at Pubnico Point, = Shag Harbour and Cape Sable but these locations didn't show nearly the number = of flocks passing overhead as my "inland" site (although Shag Harbour and Pubnico did have a few; Cape Sable showed none of these large blobs). =20 So, if anyone saw any large flocks of diurnal migrants or waterfowl, or = has any other ideas of what may have been moving around that day, I'd love = to hear it! =20 Cheers, Carolyn =20 =20 =20 Carolyn Matkovich MSc Student Acadia University Wolfville, NS =20 902-679-0332 ------=_NextPart_000_0005_01C6DFE5.B7F995D0 Content-Type: text/html; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <html> <head> <META HTTP-EQUIV=3D"Content-Type" CONTENT=3D"text/html; = charset=3Dus-ascii"> <meta name=3DGenerator content=3D"Microsoft Word 10 (filtered)"> <style> <!-- /* Style Definitions */ p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal {margin:0in; margin-bottom:.0001pt; font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";} a:link, span.MsoHyperlink {color:blue; text-decoration:underline;} a:visited, span.MsoHyperlinkFollowed {color:purple; text-decoration:underline;} span.EmailStyle17 {font-family:Arial; color:windowtext;} @page Section1 {size:8.5in 11.0in; margin:1.0in 1.0in 1.0in 1.0in;} div.Section1 {page:Section1;} --> </style> </head> <body lang=3DEN-US link=3Dblue vlink=3Dpurple> <div class=3DSection1> <p class=3DMsoNormal><font size=3D2 face=3DArial><span lang=3DEN-CA = style=3D'font-size: 10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>Hi All,</span></font></p> <p class=3DMsoNormal><font size=3D2 face=3DArial><span lang=3DEN-CA = style=3D'font-size: 10.0pt;font-family:Arial'> </span></font></p> <p class=3DMsoNormal><font size=3D2 face=3DArial><span lang=3DEN-CA = style=3D'font-size: 10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>I am the student that requested some advice = for her radar project earlier from this list serve.
