Highlights for an outing yesterday were at Oxner's Beach, Lower LaHave,
three northern pintail females. There were also 50 green-winged teal there.
At Conrad's Island Beach two red knots. Large movements of yellow-rumped
warblers going through with flocks everywhere. One flock at Conrad's Island
contained about 50 of these birds. There were four wood ducks still at the
Mason's Beach Pond. At the end of Second Peninsula 11 bobolinks. There had
been a group of 22 there.
