Index of Subjects Hi All, I'm afraid I estimated low ("30 cm plus"), because sometimes an impressive looking bird like this one can seem bigger in the minds eye (let the jokes and innuendo{ SEQ CHAPTER \h \r 1} abound!). I checked Google for pics of the American bittern, and this is definately what I saw. Cheers!
