Hi All
 
I have just returned from Cape Breton, and while there, this morning on
one of my usual jaunts I came across a Northern Goshawk for the first
time. If not for some rather boisterous Gray Jays I likely never would
have noticed the bird through a small clearing between the trees. Here's
a photo, but the morning sun at the angle and location it was did not do
me a lot of  favors. At least the lighting was good enough for I.D.:
