These pics are all of spiders so if the thought leaves you a bit squeamish, hit the delete button now. Otherwise any help on identification would be appreciated as none of my i.d. attempts are written in stone. This one I felt appeared close to other "Steatoda" species on some sites. http://www.flickr.com/photos/58321572@N00/220524198/in/set-72157594216681683/ This one appears to be Araneus diadematus which seems to be fairly common: http://www.flickr.com/photos/58321572@N00/220524179/in/set-72157594216681683/ By its actions this was a jumping spider but appears large for this group: http://www.flickr.com/photos/58321572@N00/220524155/in/set-72157594216681683/ I believe this one is the Goldenrod Crab Spider: http://www.flickr.com/photos/58321572@N00/220524130/in/set-72157594216681683/ This one is one of the smallest I have ever seen. It is on an echinacea flower. It's not much bigger than the spikes! Perhaps it is a young Goldenrod Crab Spider. I looked more carefully and found several on other echinacea. http://www.flickr.com/photos/58321572@N00/220524130/in/set-72157594216681683/ Angus
