These pics are all of spiders so if the thought leaves you a bit squeamish, 
hit the delete button now.

Otherwise any help on identification would be appreciated as none of my 
i.d. attempts are written in stone.

This one I felt appeared close to other "Steatoda" species on some sites.

This one appears to be Araneus diadematus which seems to be fairly common:

By its actions this was a jumping spider but appears large for this group:

I believe this one is the Goldenrod Crab Spider:

This one is one of the smallest I have ever seen. It is on an echinacea 
flower. It's not much bigger than the spikes! Perhaps it is a young 
Goldenrod Crab Spider. I looked more carefully and found several on other 
echinacea.
