I have found it interesting that a lot of people in this area who are =
very familiar with cod fish will not eat them because of the number of =
worms found in them.

  Hi Jim, Worms were in the flesh, most, but not all , in the area =
adjoining the stomach wall. colour from pinkish to quite dark and up =
about 3 cm in length. I believe they are the common worms which spend =
part of their cycle in seals. I have also noted them in Laughing Jacks =
which I haven't caught in a few years but I believe are a species of eel =
pout.  It always surprises me that they are not in Haddock.
