Two Space Station Passes this Evening 1st at 9:05 to 9:10

There will be a bright pass of the space station this evening. Start
watching out of the SSW about 9:05, it peaks in the SE,elevation 36
degrees (variable with your location), and fades out in the ENE about
9:10; a full pass in sunlight at its 370 km altitude above Earth.

You can catch its next pass about 1.5 hr later, coming out of the
West a little after 10:40, at about 10:42:43 at an elevation of 36
degrees above the NNW, it hits Earth's shadow and abruptly disappears
because it no longer is in any sunlight that it can reflect your way.

In the time between each pass it makes one orbit around Earth.

Sherman
