This past weekend is always the big weekend in Bear River to see hundreds of Common Nighthawks at once in the sky in the evening moving west, I suppose to Brier Island, not far away. Nary a one this year. About two weeks ago now, I was "down" from Wolfville to BR and saw about 25- 35 one of the evenings. I think they have already gone through. We'll keep an eye and ear out of them this coming weekend down there. Jean
