Morning, low tide, large sand flat exposed. Most birds out near the water's edge - many too far away to be identified. About 300 peeps - most identified were evenly divided between semi-palmated and sanderlings. 100 larger birds - those identified were mostly dowitcher, but there was one dunlin among the peeps. No willits - a surprise. 1 roseate tern - very beligerent - obviously a nest nearby. 2 blue heron 1 monarch butterfly. Roland.
