Linking Local and Global Concerns

We must recognize these linkages and not assume we can isolate ourselves. Like the oceans of the world are connected, the people of the world are connected and concepts like Fair Trade (not free trade) should be pursued. The richness of life and Culture should be valued (not just money) and the diversity of cultures and peoples in the world need to be appreciated. Focusing on the fisheries from our context would be and excellent case study.
