This discussion will investigate the following:
- international and local opportunities for public access to information through computer networks;
- what this might mean for individual privacy; and,
- the possible dangers from manipulation of data and the use of misinformation.
Panellists will include representatives from the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, Amnesty International, and the Chebucto Community Net.
