One of the most important components of the Atlantic Earth Festival is the participation of environmental groups and organizations such as yours. Traditionally this participation has taken the form of setting up displays, providing workshops and speakers and advertising or being being listed in our festival programme. This year we see the opportunity to maintain such traditions while also becoming more creative with what the final vision of the festival will be.

Essential to this final vision and form which the Atlantic Earth Festival will take is your input and ideas. We envision a Festival which is more interactive for 1998, and would like to see groups such as yours broaden your participation to include not just the day of the event, but the forming of what that day will be. We offer the Atlantic Earth Festival to you as a vehicle to promote environmental education, and perhaps much more.

We welcome and encourage you to contact us, attend any Earth Festival meetings or get together with Earth Festival volunteers to discuss ideas. We look forwards to your participation.
