Privateer Sloop Dart 1813

A very small privateer known for her daring. She was quite successful in taking much larger prey until captured by the US revenue cutter Vigilant off Rhode Island on October 22, 1813. A logbook of Dart survives at the Public Archives of Nova Scotia for one of her voyages, May 22 to June 9, 1813.
